Kunshan University of Science and Technology was officially established on April 29, 1965, and was called Kunshan Institute of Technology. Located on Kun Da Road, Yung Kang District in Tainan City, the school has a beautiful and spacious campus including a large, airy lake, the main highlight is the combination of ancient Chinese architectural styles and modern buildings.

In August 2000, Kun Shan Institute of Technology was promoted to a university of technology by the Ministry of Education. Many new facilities were built on the campus, such as laboratories, multimedia classrooms, faculty research rooms and discussion rooms to provide for both students and staff. and lecturers a positive environment for research and research. Thanks to its unique location near the center of Tainan, surrounded by small and medium-sized industrial parks, the school has a great advantage in terms of transportation and job opportunities for students.
