Introduction to Taipei City University of Science and Technology:

Taipei City University of Science and Technology (TPCU) was originally named Kuang Wu Industry Junior College. The school was founded in 1971.  It was later renamed Kuang Wu Institute of Technology in 2000 and Northern Taiwan Institute of Science and Technology in 2006.  In 2012, due to its outstanding educational achievements, the school became a university. And named Taipei City University of Science and Technology, abbreviated as TPCU later.

Geographical location

Taipei City University of Science and Technology is located in Beitou District of Taipei City (112台北市北投區學園路2號), next to Guandu MRT Station (關渡) and located on the Guandu Plain at the foot of Datun Mountain. The picturesque campus offers panoramic views of Taipei's magnificent landscape, including attractions such as Taipei 101, Guanyin Mountain, and the Tamsui River. Surrounded by mountains and rivers, Taipei University of Science and Technology has become an ideal university for students.

Ranking and training quality

–  Taipei University of Science and Technology ranked first in the 104th Human Resources Bank's high-level survey.

– In 10 years, the school won 506 awards at international innovation fairs, including 1 platinum medal, 2 double gold medals, 1 diamond medal, 1 congress first prize, 143 gold medals, 166 silver medals, 143 bronze medals, 49 special prizes, a total of 25 medals ranked first in the country.

– In 2017: The number of patent applications in Taipei University of Science and Technology ranked first in the country country.

– Long-term cooperation with Japan, Australia and many other countries for student internships, in the 2016-2019 school year, there were a total of 419 student internships in 9 countries.
