Vannung University of Science and Technology was founded by Professor Hsin-Chai Chuang on March 27, 1972.

Geographical location

Wan Nang University of Science and Technology is located in one of the eight major industrial parks of Taoyuan - the largest industrial city in Taiwan. The school is about 5km from Taoyuan High Speed ​​Rail Station. In addition, there are buses running from Zhongli Station to the school every 15 minutes, creating maximum transportation convenience for students.

1972: Established Vanung Industrial Technology Private College

1973: Renamed Vanung Industrial Technology Private College

1990: Renamed Vanung Industrial and Commercial Private College

1999: Restructured, converted to Vanung Technical Academy

2004: Renamed Vanung University of Science and Technology

Vanung University is currently ranked 95th in Taiwan and 6457 in the world (According to UniRank).

In addition, the school has many achievements such as:

• “Excellence in Teaching and Learning Award” awarded by the Ministry of Education of Taiwan in 2006.
• Vanung's quality management system has been certified with ISO standards since July 2000.
• In 2010, the education quality system was successfully upgraded to ISO 9001: 2008 standards.
